A Recording Academy anunciou na última terça (26) a lista de indicados ao Grammy 2021. Dois brasileiros estão entre os candidatos ao prêmio: Bebel Gilberto, na categoria de Álbum de Música Global com o disco Agora (2020) e o compositor e instrumentista paulistano, Chico Pinheiro, concorrendo na categoria de Álbum de Jazz Latino por seu trabalho em City of Dreams.
Na lista que incluem nomes como Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Post Malone e até BTS, Beyoncé aparece como o maior número de indicações. Ao todo, Queen B, como é carinhosamente chamada pelos fãs, obteve 9 menções esse ano.
Em toda sua carreira, Beyoncé foi indicada 79 vezes ao prêmio, tornando-se a mulher mais indicada da história da premiação. Por sua vez, seu marido, Jay-Z, e Quincy Jones são os homens mais indicados da história ao Grammy, com 80 indicações cada. Confira a lista com as principais categorias abaixo:
