The Turkish actress who is rocking on Ya Çok Seversen is getting more and more popular and you need to know her!

Known for playing Yagmur Kara in Son Yaz, and most recently for bringing Leyla to life in Ya Çok Seversen, Hafsanur Sancaktutan has been conquering many hearts and drawing attention even more wherever she goes! Hafsanur Sancaktutan was born on March 20, 2000, in Istanbul, and came from a traditional family full of rules and praxis. “I have a world in which I can feel free and think by myself every day. My family is very sweet and raised me with a lot of love, I have a huge respect for my family”, said the actress in an interview.

She got interested in theater when she was still pretty young and got many prizes for the plays that she took a role in. She kept acting in roles for two years until she had a break to dedicate herself to karate and to graduate from Orhangazi Anatolian High School, according to an interview she gave to the InStyle Magazine, in 2019. Later she started her studies on acting.

Despite being very young, she has a large television history. Hafsanur is only 23 years old but is busy raising herself alone “I face reality and I surrender to this confront. I am having new perceptions. It’s a little painful but it’s good to explore. Truly knowing people, without masks, sometimes is a disappointment, but I realize that it feeds. It’s a great observation test, and it is good for my acting”, the actress told in a recent interview with L’Officiel.

She was called for a role in the Servet series, in 2018, and right after that was invited to play a character called Fidan in the Gulperi series, a landmark of her career. She started drawing the attention of Turkish viewers in 2019, in the Ask Aglatir series, as the protagonist Ada Meryem, and in the world-famous Son Yaz, in which she played Yagmur Kara and got many awards as the best new actress and was acclaimed as Rising Star of the Year in Ayaklı Magazine in 2023. Before this, she participated of the series Playing with destiny and Darmaduman interpreting Sinem and Derim,respectively until the invitation arrives to playing Leyla on Ya Çok Seversen in 2023.

Son Yas was a very famous Turkish series of 2021. Full of romance and drama, it was transmitted in Turkey by Fox TV and exported to many countries, and gave Hafsanur many awards including the already mentioned Rising Star of the Year in the Ayaklı Magazine, in 2021.

In the plot, the actress played Yağmur Kara, a Law student, very dedicated to her family and studies. Because of her mother’s death, Yağmur puts her youth aside and turns herself into the head of the family, taking care of her brother and father, taking responsibilities she couldn’t actually handle. She ends up falling in love with Kaan, but their relationship doesn’t take long.

Selim Kara (Ali Atay), Yağmur’s father, is an idealist prosecutor who receives a good offer from the head of the mafia, Selçuk Taşkın (Arif Pişkin): Selçuk accepts to witness against his own organization in exchange for the prosecutor Selim to protect his son Akgün Gökalp Taşkın (Alperen Duymaz).

Meanwhile, life tests Selim: his wife Canan (Funda Eryiğit), who lives with his children in Izmir, wants to file for divorce. Now, between work and family, the attorney must take Akgün, a young troublemaker, to his residence to live with his family. While Akgün wants to solve the conspiracy against Selim, his paths cross with Yağmur’s and this will cause everyone’s life to be changed.

The series had an agile plot and is full of twists and action, which made Hafsanur explore its dramatic aspect earning him great reviews and awards as the revelation actress of the year. The production had two seasons and was an audience success, a turning point in Hafsanur’s career. It’s worth watching!

The success in Ya Çok Seversen

In Ya Çok Seversen, Hafsanur plays Leyla, a stubborn and impetuous young woman who has never met her family and makes money by deceiving wealthy men with the promise of marriage.

In the plot, she and the character of Kerem Bursin, Ateş, who left his family home to study at a boarding school abroad, after the death of his mother, and returns to Istanbul forced to become the guardian of his late father’s three children, have their paths crossed when the false bride flees the groom in the elevator of a hotel, changing both lives after this meeting.

The series has been achieving satisfactory success around the world and the chemistry of Hafsanur and Kerem has delighted everyone! The production been directed for a while time by Ali Bilgin, known for his work on the highly praised Turkish series Yargi: Family Secrets (2021) and has a very talented and captivating supporting cast too.

With skilled actors and a lot of chemistry among the protagonists, Ya Çok Seversen shows that it has more and more potential to raise Hafsanur Sancaktutan as a worldwide star and winner of several awards, even being exported to several countries so far!
